Crocodile Kruger Safari Lodge is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River, overlooking the Kruger National Park, one of South Africa's premier tourist destinations.
Regular Big 5 sightings are possible from the lodge but a visit to the park itself should not be missed during your stay.
Malelane gate (25 minutes) and Crocodile Bridge gate (20 minutes) are within easy driving distance from the lodge. A daily conservation fee is payable at the gate.
Day Visitors
Day visitors are welcome to the Kruger National Park. There is a maximum threshold of visitors that can enter the park daily. If this threshold is reached only visitors with pre-booked overnight accommodation will be permitted access. Such situations tend only to arise in extreme cases such as public holidays and long weekends.
Daily conservation fee:
Valid from 1 September 2009 to 31 October 2010.
- South African citizens and residents (with ID): R 40 per person per day.
- SADC Nationals (with passport): R80 per person per day; R40 per child per day.
- Standard Conservation Fee (Foreign Visitors): R160 per adult and R80 per child under 12 per day.

Wild Card
Alternatively guests can purchase a Wild Card from the entrance gate which will, for a once off payment, give them access to the Kruger National Park for 365 days from date of purchase. The card comes in three variations for :
- Individual – guests over 18 years of age
- Couple – two people over 18 years of age
- Family – two adults and children under 18 years of age
Local residents have the choice of buying one of two variants of the Wild Card:
The Bushveld Cluster card, which can be used in Kruger, Mapungubwe, Marakele and Golden Gate;
or The All Clusters card that is valid for all national parks. Foreign nationals also have access to a wild card that works on the same principle, and is valid for all national parks.

- November - February: 18:30
- March, April, August, September & October: 18:00
- May-July: 17:30
